The MHL Adapter Combo Kit is ideal for sharing content from your MHL compatible smartphone or tablet on your HDTV or monitor. The MHL Adapter incorporates Mobile High-Definition Link version 1.1 technology, supporting 1080p HD video and 7.1 digital audio. Connect to a power source via the Micro USB connector for simultaneous charging of the device during video/audio playback on the HDTV.

Step 1: Attach the included adapter tip to the MHL adapter (micro USB male)

Step 2: Connect the MHL adapter (with the tip) to your smartphone

Step 3: Connect your phone's AC charger to the MHL Active Cable (micro USB female)

Step 4: Attach the HDMI cable (not included) to the MHL adapter and connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDTV

Step 5: Wait (approx 15 secs) for content to be displayed on HDTV

Directions for all other MHL compatible phones:

Step 1: Connect the MHL adapter to your smartphone (micro USB male)

Step 2: Connect your phone's AC charger to the MHL Active Cable (micro USB female)

Step 3: Attach HDMI cable (not included) from MHL adapter to HDTV

I followed the "How to Use" directions but nothing is appearing on the TV screen?
- Make sure to push the MHL4300 connector all the way in. If you have a case protecting your phone, you may need to remove the case.
How to I charge my Galaxy Note 3 while using the MHL Adapter?
- The power port on the MHL Adapter uses a USB 2.0 port, so normally you can use the micro USB to USB 2.0 charge cable that comes with most smartphones. However, the Galaxy Note 3 comes with a micro USB to USB 3.0 charge cable, which cannot be connected to MHL Adapter's power port. You will need to use a micro USB to USB 2.0 cable, like Cirago's MDA3000.
